JACQUELYN MAYFIELD is founder and president of MAYFIELD CONSULTING, LTD. Ms. Mayfield brings an unparalleled range of experiences in business, government, health care and legal settings to her work as a career and leadership consultant to the legal, private wealth management, entrepreneurial start up and non profit sectors.

Over the last 17 years, in the legal profession, she has designed and implemented a series of uniquely effective approaches to attorney recruitment, development, outplacement and coaching. Her consultations with law firms has enhanced the quality of attorney performance and positively impacted the outplacement process. Her successful career transition and coaching models are structured, strategic and compassionate, resulting in an exceptional success ratio.

Ms. Mayfield also consults with senior leaders in the design and execution of programs for women that empower and enhance leadership in the non-profit and for profit sectors She currently consults with Evercore Wealth Management, Roar Africa LLC and Omega Institute in addition to her work with attorneys. Her business experience includes past consultations as an executive leadership consultant with KRW International, a premier executive leadership development organization and GenSpring Family Offices.

Before founding Mayfield Consulting Ltd, she held varied positions in the international marketing division of Mobil Oil Corporation, where she worked with senior management in developing and implementing worldwide marketing communications strategies. Prior to her employment at Mobil, Ms. Mayfield held positions in the U. S. House of Representatives, The White House, and Time Magazine.

While enrolled in a graduate level social work program, Ms. Mayfield was awarded a coveted Fellows appointment at Cambridge City Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching facility, where she worked as a clinical therapist in the internationally acclaimed Victims of Violence Program. She continues to work in this field on a pro bono basis.

Ms. Mayfield holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Psychology from the University of Alabama, and a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Simmons College. She is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Girls Club of New York, The Financial Women’s Association of New York and the Creative Visions Foundation.

She is a current board member of the US Board of Women Without Borders, the International Center for Research on Women, Roar Africa LLC and serves on the Stewardship Council of the Omega Institute. She is an advisor to Madison Square Boys and Girls Club, American India Foundation, the Omega Women’s Leadership Center and Juan Felipe Gomez Escobar Foundation. She is an activist, philanthropist and involved global supporter of various non-profit organizations.
